Onirique - all my paintings have hidden messages, stories, secrets, feelings that people resonate with. You fall in love with a piece of art not only because it’s beautiful, but because it is a visual representation of a feeling, memory or philosophy of life you care about and represents you. I especially looove to add personal details, visual features and characteristics, feelings and emotions related to the person I’m creating for, in my commissioned paintings. Onirique is created for one of my best friends in primary school, whom I haven’t talked to in a long time. This is the main reason for using the patina of time in creating this painting. This patina it’s like an aura surrounding us, associated with beauty, history and memories. The title “Onirique” came naturally, I didn’t know
